Auckland is for Lovers Wankers

I’m not overly impressed with Auckland, but then again I don’t really like overpopulated holes crawling with turismos and trendyites. To celebrate my birthday I’m headed to do some Black Water Rafting tomorrow, through caves, underground and with glow worms and such. Should be a good time. Other than that I’m off to Rotorua’s geothermal wonderland, followed by some volcano climbing good times at Tongariro. Then on to Mt. Taranaki/Egmont for more climbingage of the mountainous regiones. Then I’ll be in Wellington, which I’m pretty sure I’ll dig more than here. It’s not bad, it’s just not good - Wellington will at least have PJ walking around constantly and WETA employees all over, right? RIGHT? Take care, and rest assured I am taking the notes, writing it all down (yeah I’ll write it all down) and will have some shit hot stories for this site of sites one day terribly soon. It’s quite amazing how much just getting from the airport can be an adventure, or what meeting a family from mainland Australia can do to an average weekend, but it’s those unexpected moments which often contribute to the best adventures.

What’s going on? Were you affected by the cyclone at all?
