There and Back Again
As some of you know, I recently made the journey back to Prince Edward Island for Andy and Laine’s wedding. The whole trip was a decidedly good time, and I thought I’d bust out an unordered list for y’all, rather than wait six months for me to post anything in detail. So without further ado, here are the highlights.
- Arriving at the Charlottetown airport just moments before my Aunt and Uncle checked through security to head back West.
- Interrupting Andrea’s laundry with a bit of a surprise.
- Immediate supper with Dad and Andrea at the Churchill Arms. Bring on the curry.
- sleep@v-berth.saltheart.ca
- Waking up and taking a morning jog along the boardwalk
- Hanging out with the A-Man as we explore the mysteries of ancient Zellers stock
- Sniffing for Wi-Fi from Summerside to Charlottetown. 1337 H4XX0RZ 0N1Y!11!
- New Super Mario Bros wireless multiplayer. Sonofabitch.
- Farmer’s market bear claws and Karin Laronde’s ice tea. Good gracious, how I’ve missed thee.
- Cash Converters now has video rental, food, an eBay service, and an upcoming fertility clinic.
- Dubtee Eff?! I must haves them on the DVDz.
- Mad dash de Chocobo/Stanza to Emyvale for wedding timelines
- A truly warm and special service in the company of friends
- Reception. Cheese cake, carrot cake, cookies, nummy num nums.
- Giving Andy a piggy back ride while he was still in his groomswear
- Teasing Laine about the ‘good old days’ as she spun glowsticks in her wedding dress
- An absolutely gorgeous boat ride with Dad, Beth, Adam and Andrea for the win.
- Pink wig, lol.
- Browsing the independant movies with Aaron and trading recommendations, like we do it all the time. If only.
- Having Mike accuse me of being a coke fiend, and my being too busy having a laughing fit to defend myself.
- The Man Who Fell to Earth. I <3 Gin. [Ed. note: oh noes…]
- So. Much. House.
- Coffee, cake and casual conversation with Marla and Aaron.
- Joyeux Noel, and Daniel Bruhl’s oh-so misplaced loyalties.
- Cooking Mama’s bi-polar flaming eyes of disapproval, and sweet smile of encouragement.
- A pleasant drive through scenic New Glasgow
- Giggle giggle, pwnt pwnt pwnt at Hunter’s Ale House.
- PICTOCHAT!?!?!?!?!
- Some grade-A observing courtesy of Roger ‘Orple’ Vail. Got to see Uranus + Neptune!
- U Jack’s giving me an XL Home Alone for the $ of a L.
- Emo Cameron, Fresno by Night, Mazzy Star, Great or Greatest?
- Hanging out with the Matt, who sleeps less than I do.
- Lunch at the Formosa with Marla, where self-restraint re: buying all the decor, is required.
- Moonsnail Soap. Excellent despite the occasional Fishman.
- Supper at Beth’s with the recovering old man. Yummy quesadillas.
- Wordplay. I don’t feel so geeky anymore.
Getting up at 7:00 AM EST, flying all day, then bussing to Kingston, then going to work until 7:00 AM.

Hey Pattertiller, thanks so much for coming to the ceremony and party, I wish we had of caught up a little more or had met up the few days after we were still home but any face time is good!

Yeah… Matt sleeps less than anyone. Much to my own chagrin.

I think it was best that you didn’t buy all the decor at Formosa - remember the rain? It would have made a huge papier mache mess of all the purchases.
SOOOOOOOOAKED.
